Dreamachine is produced and developed by Collective Act, a producer of powerful large-scale participatory commissions. We are a flexible and independent team that collaborates with a network of artists, freelancers, partners, and festivals to create memorable public projects across the globe. We champion a collective and multi-disciplinary approach to producing new work, creating space for taking risks and the unexpected to bring ambitious ideas to life. As a team, we are driven by the ethos of creating meaningful shared experiences that build connections and help change the way we look at the world.

Collective Act is looking for Guardians and Lead Guardians for a pilot offering of Dreamachine.

The Guardians and Lead Guardians welcome and guide visitors through the Dreamachine experience, providing key information and care that maximises engagement and impact and supports visitor wellbeing. We are particularly looking to meet people with a knowledge of and experience of working with communities local to Studio Dreamachine in Hackney.

The roles will suit welcoming and proactive individuals, with previous experience in a customer-facing role and providing high levels of visitor care. This experience may be drawn from a range of sectors including education, health, hospitality, leisure or office environments.

Guardian Information Pack

Collective Act is looking for an exceptional Executive Producer to join our senior leadership team to develop and deliver the Dreamachine programme, a 5* interdisciplinary experience exploring the wonder of the human mind, across the world.

The Executive Producer will work closely with the Director to lead the planning and delivery of Dreamachine including commercial partnerships and investment, international development and stakeholder relationships. We are looking for a highly committed team player to hold a central role in realising the scale, potential and ambition of this major public programme.

Executive Producer Information Pack

As we grow the Dreamachine programme and tour, we are expanding our team of freelance associates and contractors. We are looking to meet people with considerable experience in their field, who have a high level of technical and practical expertise in their discipline as well as honed communication and interpersonal skills; people who are adaptable and resourceful, who are motivated to work alongside a team of diverse minds from a range of backgrounds and approaches, with a creative, collegiate and flexible approach to collaboration.

We are keen to hear from people who are motivated by the mission and values of the Dreamachine, and are driven by ensuring the deepest impact possible for our audiences. It is essential to us that inclusion and access remains at the heart of all our work.
